"We routinely use the STARBoard, radial arm board designed by Mark Webster (Adept Medical Ltd, Auckland, New Zealand) with four pivoting joints and a rotating handle that can be used both for standard and distal radial approach. In the latter case, the handle is placed vertically so the patient's snuffbox is facing upward and the wrist extended medially (Figure 3)."
